Book News: The Big One! a.k.a. The Push Chronicles Through WordFire Press!

So it’s time to make the more proper big announcement I’ve been waiting to do all week. I am honored to say that all three books of the Push Chronicles are now being published through WordFire Press!

You can get them now through Amazon and Baen Books‘ e-book store! The covers have had a little touch-up but still show the amazing art from my good friend, Felipe De Barros, and the excellent editing and proofing team from Wordfire have done their magic. If you‘re looking for some excellent superhero literature that goes a little deeper than your everyday smash-bam-pow, give these a read!

You can get the updated links from my Released Books page, right at the top!

Book News: Something Big Coming Soon But … a.k.a. There’s A Reason You Can’t Buy The Push Chronicles Right Now.

I just updated ye olde Released Book page and the astute among you may notice that there are no more included links to purchase any of the Push Chronicle books. Now, before you panic, let me assure you that while you cannot currently purchase them, there’s a really, awfully good reason why not.

Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to say why that is or when that will change. All I can assure you is that it’s actually a really good thing and that they will be available again sometime Soon (TM).

Uhm, that’s all I can say about that. For now. Again, Soon (TM). Until then, good reading, good writing, and good luck!

Book News: Happy Thanksgiving! Have A Book Sale!

First off, as the title suggests, I want to wish everyone out there a happy Thanksgiving, assuming you celebrate that holiday in your neck of the world. Even if you don’t, have a happy Thursday!

Second, because of said holiday, tomorrow’s Starving Review might be delayed a day or two, but it will be coming soon on the heels of Friday.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly in general, all of my solo titles will be going on SALE starting tomorrow! Black Friday, baby!

Book News: The First Cycle Ends a.k.a. Final Editions of Indefatigable and Incorruptible Live!

The first cycle of The Push Chronicles is finally complete in a form fitting of the ideas that had bounced inside my head.  You can now purchase (or update) the newly revised and re-edited editions of Indefatigable and Incorruptible from Amazon and Smashwords, with print editions updating as we speak.  The first volume, Indomitable, is  still free from Smashwords as well.

Just read to the Released Books page for purchase links!

Book News: Game, Set, Match, Republish! a.k.a. Indefatigable and Incorruptible Second Editions Soon!

As you may have caught, I recently finished the full re-edit of Indomitable, the first book of The Push Chronicles.  Not one to rest on my laurels, I felt that the rest of the series should get the polish only my past year’s experience as an editor, aided by outside eyes, could give them.  I’ve just finished up the last pass on Incorruptible, so all that is left is some formatting work to do.

To sum it up, I’ll be putting out the second editions of Indefatigable and Incorruptible sometime tomorrow.  I’ll make the proper announcements as they go live.  Having everything properly finished also paves the way for The Push Chronicles to move into the second cycle of stories I have planned.

As these editions will be updates as opposed to re-releases, any of you that have already purchased e-book editions of the series should be able to update them directly.  For new readers, it will ensure the best possible experience they can have.

Keep tuned for the official releases tomorrow and thank you for the support!

Book News: A new review for The Tale of the Tape, Indefatigable revised, and OMG PATREON!

There’s a lot on the plate today!

First up, here’s another cool unsolicited review for The Tale of the Tape up on Amazon.com!  Check it out here.

Second, I’m proud to announce that the full revised edition of Indefatigable is now published.  This means that all of my books have now been cleaned up to the professional standards I have learned over this past year of blood, sweat, and tears.  A big thanks to everyone who has been both supportive and critical over this time!  Now I can move on to NEW BUSINESS!

Lastly and perhaps most importantly, I have now started a Patreon campaign to help support both my writing and my blogging.  There will be some nice rewards for Patrons, such as a Patreon-only serial novel.  The main thing that regular readers of this blog will see is that the last Starving Review each month will be Patreon-powered, reviewing a book chosen by Patreon supporters.  These Patreon reviews will start in June for sure, but may start this month if there is sufficient patronage by then.

Check out the page and hopefully I can count on your support!

Good reading, good writing, and good luck!

Book News: The Tale of the Tape revised and rereleased

We are almost to the end of Revision Road.  The files for the revised edition of The Tale of the Tape are working through Amazon and Smashwords as we speak.  This fully cleaned-up edition should be available later today for download.  If you previously purchased the book, all you need to do is update it (Kindles at the least should do this auto-magically).

All that’s left in terms of ‘old business’ is to revise Indefatigable and then it’s time to progress to new writing.  Huzzah!

Thanks to all those people who have read, reviewed, rated, and provided input to this point!  You have been a fantastic help in this process!

Book News: New Reviews, Continual Self-Improvement and a Shout-Out

A bit of news for tonight, folks.

First, some more reviews for Indomitable and Indefatigable!  Check them out here and here!

Second, it’s looking like we will be go for publishing Incorruptible by the end of the coming week.  I’m just waiting for a final round of input from my beta readers then we are all go.

Third, I received some incredibly insightful feedback on the start of Indomitable which is definitely my roughest start of any of my books.  I always knew there was something off about it but I could never figure it out to my satisfaction.  However, Sally Ember figured it out and now, now, I think I can finally make it perfect!  Or close to!

For that fact alone, she deserves a shout-out.  A bit ‘thank you’ is in order for you, Sally!  Anyone who is looking for editing help and writing insights should definitely drop her a line.  She’s worth the time and the money!

So, that’s that.  I am going to do a rewrite of the early chapters of Indomitable along with another full edit and, when that’s ready, I’ll use that as a point to shift it from free to paid.  I’ll be doing the same with The Opening Bell, with more edit and less rewriting, sometime shortly thereafter.

Expect a Starving Review in a day or two!  Until then, good luck and good writing!

Book News: Some more reviews for The Push Chronicles

Here’s some more good stuff posted to Goodreads!

Two fresh reviews, one for Indomitable and one for Indefatigable, which you can read here and here.

I encourage you, if you have read the books and like them, it only helps to give them a rating and review.  Heck, if you read them and DIDN’T like them, I still encourage you to rate and review.  We writers can’t grow and improve without honest criticism.
